@BigLisaFan "Probably not, but not every German was bad either, at least some tried to maintain a sense of decency in a time of great evil." Multiple cities with zero military presence in them were leveled to the ground in the very first day of the WW2, pease be so nice and tell us names of the German pilots that for example refused to drop boombs on Wieluń. Who exactly said "No there is a hospital with huge red cross on the roof i will not gonna drop bomb on that target"... „Hit the Poles so hard that they despair of their life; I have full sympathy with their condition, but if we want to survive, we can only exterminate them; the wolf, too, cannot help having been created by God as he is, but people shoot him for it if they can.“ — Otto von Bismarck And yea Otto is huge German hero to this very day and this quote is from his private letter to his sister...

"Read a book about a Luftwaffe pilot. His CO asked if he could shoot a man in a parachute and he said no. " LoL Luftwaffe pilots started this war with droping boombs on cities with no military targets...so stop reading idiotic German propaganda. You wana read about Luftwaffe pilots? Then read the conversations of German pilots POW when they were talking to other Germans unaware that the whole conversation is recorded. Allies got 100,000 of pages of this conversations and from them it is clear that yor story is strange, only posibility that it may be true is the fact that Germans started to act diffrently when they were aware that the war is lost and they gonna need to end up as an POW. Most of the German war crimes were in the central and East Europe and in 1945 you can read about all the worst criminals runing awey from the East front just to be POW of American or British soldiers... in hope that they will be as missguided as you. "Soldaten: On Fighting, Killing and Dying. The Secret World War II Transcripts of German POWs" written by German historian Sönke Neitzel and German psychologist Harald Welzer... they are trying to find excuses for German crimes and how how much fun Germans got when they were commiting them. Example from the book. The pilot(of ju 88 most likely) got 32 boombs and Polish city with street full of civilians, he is saying to other German how mad he is that he only droped few boombs before he was shot down because he wanted to kill hudereds of random Polish people that never did anything to him... Another example: Pilot of the stuka boomber in first week of the war droped by accident boomb not on Train station but on some civilian building, he was not happy the first day. As he said the second day when he did the same he did not care. Third day he started to have fun... https://youtu.be/Qvs7RnF73qs First weeks of the war and most of the crimes on this photo were made by your "honorable Luftwaffe pilots"...

"Those pilots should have been dealt with severely." heh in Germany? The country that judged that Heinz Reinefarth is inocent and even elected him into parliament? Guy was behind massacre of 200,000-250,000 civilians and did not have any trouble because of it. But lets "severely" punish some pilot that got order to open fire on military plane with military personel in it that was flying over controled by Soviet Air space and doing who knows what...
