That is how you know that he is aware what country he is living in... he said the truth and with it he explained why he is not supporting the whole Russian invasion into Ukrainian territory without actualy saying anything that could be easly used against him in court.
97
@forgottenmusic1 Putin was not alive in XIX century... And Russian tsar sold Alaska to USA because there were unable to generate any profit from it and at that time Russia was broke because of the Crimean War...
29
Yea he is watching to much Lavrov in TV...😁
24
" I think they would be ashamed of what they were saying during this interview " Zero chance for that. In Russia there is big % of people that are ready to eat only scraps just so they could believe in "они боятся нас"(they are afraid of us). Also this group of people do not gonna take easly fact that the "special operation" is going sideways and the whole respect for the Russian Army is disappearing all over the world. And that group of people is often armed and ready to fight on a street so the next year may be interesting in Russia.
23
@AntiDegenerate1971 "14k something Russians died but that's clearly a lie. " yep it is a lie... i just saw Ukrainian military guy asking civilians to bury dead Russian soldiers because weather is warming up and there will be a huge problem... so yea i also think that the number is wrong... i just do not agree with your assessment of it.
22
@cheesevampire110123 Spot on, they are simply trying to prove to the officials watching this video that they are not the "rock the boat" type of people...
15
Or Kaliningrad... :D
14
@shalapay5712 "Citizens of Ukraine have been collecting war tax since 2014. " that may have to do with the fact that Russian soldiers are on Ukrainian territory from exactly 2014... and why exactly independent country like Ukraine have to do what Russia wants? And if we using Law of the Jungle:the stronger is always right->then Russia should be quiet and do what USA wants!
14
@ЧайныйЛист-п2г It sounds that he was not sleeping on history lessons... and Russians in the same time can learn that "Russia never invaded anyone"=>kinda would like to hear the story how the same teacher is explaining after that how the hell then Russia ended up as the biggest country on Earth... LoL
14
@nananishka "lower income don’t like Russians." Like people from east Poland->part that was exploited before the WW1 by Russian empire for over 120 years and most killing in 1939-1941 was in the east part that was occupied by USSR... honestly people that you describe as "wealthier and more intelligent people" are simply trying to not think about history. 500 years ago Polish-Lithuania GDP was bigger than Russian, German, British or French... but we got Swedish, German and Russian neighbours and they all pretending that they do not know why some people in Poland know our history and why for example stolen in Poland priceless items should return back to Poland...
13
On top of that USSR did not considered itself as legal continuation of Imperial Russia->so they refused to pay Russian debt... Bolsheviks almost ended up USSR history because of that as the whole world refused to do any bussines with them but... Germany saved Kremlin ->Treaty of Rapallo from 1922.
13
@salad7776 "Everything, all parts can be bought elsewhere, e.g. in China, but they will cost more..." Top producers of bearings are in Sweden, Japan and Germany... good luck with China made bearings for something that need to transfer real power/loads... not to mention that China is not ready to suffer for Russian fault so they limiting export to Russia to not be another target for the sanctions...
12
@Tommiesz "For our freedom and yours (Polish: Za naszą i waszą wolność) is one of the unofficial mottos of Poland. It is commonly associated with the times when Polish soldiers, exiled from the partitioned Poland, fought in various independence movements all over the world."
11
@spencerhowell9094 "If it’s truly true then why do the poles allow both Belarusians and Russians to become polish citizens then ?" Nothing new, Poland was before partition the richest country in Europe(excluding Ottoman Empire that was huge back then with huge territories in Europe, Asia and Africa). Plenty of Russians were trying to be Polish king subject because Poland was a republic(Rzeczpospolita Obojga Narodów is translated to english as Polish-Lithuanian Commonwelth but exact translation is Republic of Both Nations). The main reason why Russian and Germans were emigrating to Poland was always the same ->country where you are protected by the law from the king and what you own belongs realy to you not to the Tsar. And Belarusians were Second Polish republic citizens plus idiotic ammount of Polish citizens were forcefuly relocated to Siberia for taking part in upraising against Tsar or any other anty Tsar activity -> that is why so many people in Russia have Polish family names -> they end with "-ski"
11
@chrisf1202 Its a popular symbol printed on hats(not only in Russia) and I suspect that most Russians have no idea where it comes from and what it means.
11
@Naschira Just make system with 1 year presidency->like in Switzerland->in one year you are not able to create a habitat of friends/people that owe you and will be working not for the country but for the guy in charge. But the biggest problem is to change exceptations of people that are fine with curent state of coruption and nepotism in Russia...
11
@colrunswild4adventure781 " in the UK we don't go to prison when we disagree." So where do you go if you do not agree with the idea of royal blood and other medieval crap common in UK?🙃
9
@meteor7836 So when exactly and what part of Iraq, Libya or Yougoslavia ended up like Crimean Peninsula? When USA, UK or any other NATO country said that any part of listed by you countries are now part of USA, UK or any other NATO country just like Russia did with parts of the Ukraine? Even Republic of Kosovo is independent and not a NATO or even UE country...
9
Fun fact: Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth got the biggest GDP among all EU countries before Sweden+Russia invaded...
8
@TheBandit7613 As a Polish i am almost offended that only one person pointed out Poland... the only country that conquered Russia is named only once...
7
@alexmangorove "And?" This is Russia not USA=> this is one of the most important difrences betwen Russia and USA. In USA people like to unite for even the most trivial things and create a group with leaders and people that are responsible for some specific tasks. From this videos its easy to tell that the author would like to blame the people on the top for the situation but it is a lie, the problem is in the post Soviet culture of the average citizen and they would be able to change any country even Switzerland into a disfunctional copy of Russia in no time if only they would have chance to live there with other Russian people...
7
@Миразамир-о8с "where did you get this statistics?" There is straight line betwen "The oprichnina (Russian: опри́чнина) was a state policy implemented by Tsar Ivan the Terrible in Russia between 1565 and 1572. The policy included mass repression of the boyars (Russian aristocrats), including public executions and confiscation of their land and property.", the Great Purge also known as "Yezhovshchina" and this video parts that are muted to avoid something that do not have its name yet... So from the very first tsar of Russia to the last... the same story and no visible end to it in foreseeable future!
6
"I remember being in Poland and all the signs were in Polish and Russian." was you visiting Soviet military bases in Poland (and doing pictures to them)?😅 In some turrist places you could see non-Polish signs but not just in Polish and Russian... even 30 years ago they would also have German, French or English language on them..
6
@singularity-6339 How exactly uniting Ukrainians into position of your most dedicated enemy is helping Russia achieve that "neutral Ukraine"? And for what Russia needs that "neutral Ukraine"? "For the fifth year in a row, Finland has been named the happiest country in the world, with Denmark coming in second, followed by Iceland, Switzerland and the Netherlands." Is Finland on top becaue they like to beat neighbors sour when they don't do what they think is right for Finland? Any other country in that Top 5 is achieving that position by any kind of agresion or military threats? "If he could go further to American study then his point of view would change drastically" maybe you can go to Korea and compare the Moscow friends from north with south where they have plenty of "evil" US soldiers? South Korean GDP => 1.631 trillion USD (2020) vs. 1.483 trillion USD (2020) for Russia that have more land and natural resources than any other country...
6
@daark1799 The funy part is that "Stalin" was invented so he would be more Russian not Georgian... and he was elected as the leader of USSR by Russians not by the Georgians. Also even when he was in charge it was done with hands of Russians from Red Army and NKVD...
6
Jason n Brandi Taylor Poland, Baltic states and Finland are doing it now they are on the way to end up as another NK.
6
70% of Russians thinks nowdays that Stalin was a good leader... They consider this type of rule as "strong leader"...
6
@kosarkosar7683 Betwen 1939 and 1940 most of the killing and extermination in Poland was done in the East part of Poland->under Soviet Union... Holodomor in Ukraine->1932-1933 many million of people starved to death because they were not Russians... Who decimated Crimean Tatars? Germans?
6
@jmolofsson Except that you are also not cut off from information and in some strange way you ignore the fact that the Iraqis themselves were fed up with the brutal dictatorship of Hussein who filled all the key positions with family members and the less key positions with representatives of his small tribe... while the rest acted as serfs. Iraqi resistance to the invasion was minimal and the civilians themselves welcomed the change of power with joy... So you must not have sincere intentions to present it in the way you did. The change of civilians view was long after the invasion and got very little to do with what you are talking here about Iraq case.

@ricolync "Lenin and Stalin met in 1905 at a party conference, but did not maintain close contact for more than a decade. They met on different occasions maybe a few times. One of these meetings in particular must have been exceptionally successful. After Stalin visited him in 1913, the future leader of the revolution wrote to Maxim Gorky about the "wonderful Georgian". However, the impression could not last long, since two years later Lenin was unable to remember the full name of the newcomer from Transcaucasia"... USSR was a Germanic project, they invented the ideology, were giving home to Lenin when he was forced to run awey from Russia and first book of Stalin was published in Vienna(at that time Stalin, Trotsky, Adolf and Tito were all living there as one big socialist family...).
5
@eugenemorozov "lol, he improved life of people???? Hundreds of thousands died from hunger as the result of his treason." He was the best president of USSR and Russia... and the fact that so many people think that he is a traitor explains very well why Russia today is on its way to be next North Korea.
5
@potencjalnypracownik2966 Yes, this is close to Moscow... most of the Russian vilages looks far wors than this one...
5
@mitchyoung93 "Discrediting the army is one. " Nope, if we talking about one thing then its truth... and your "discrediting army" is also a lie, even you here are scared to say the truth about the whole "discrediting army" bs...
5
@aleksionas What is more important is that she do not know the taste of police baton... there is plenty of older people in Russia that do not gonna help her when Russian sad man in uniforms gonna make a visit->and that is the problem here.
5
@Krolmir96 You failed to point what is the propaganda in his comment or even any conection of propaganda to anything what he said... Most likely you are just trying to sell your own propaganda that you are very smart...
5
Come to Poland we can show you what you did here(40% of the Polish citizens murdered) and how the Swedish golden age started...
4
@MiSt3300 "'Slava' is an east Slavic word meaning glory, but in Polish it doesn't exist. It resembles the word "fame" though which is sława /suava/" Your Slavic languages skill sucks big time... It is exactly the same word in Russian, Ukrainian and Polish... слава=>л=ł to make "l" out of that "л" you need to have a soft mark after it that looks like a half size "b". And they have the same origin->Proto-Slavic not "East-Slavic"... You can take google translate and it will be giving you Polish "sława"(Polish "w"="v") as the second proposition for the translation of english word "glory"... but yes, in modern Polish the proper translation for "glory" in this case should be not "sława"/"slava" but "chwała".
4
@haaritdiasoritkenbaar3418 that prog-maker can spy after the work and finding him will be much harder when he is living in the middle of Germany and living right next to a honest empolyer of company that the Russian is targeting...
4
@asbisi And what is new about it? Russians were doing that for 200 years... Why do you think so many people in Russia have Polish surnames that end with -ski?! Konstanty Ciołkowski(Tsiolkovsky) -> son of Polish noble send to Siberia for taking part in upraising against Russia, home schooled by his father->was a Russian and Soviet rocket scientist who pioneered astronautics->his equations(Tsiolkovsky rocket equation) are used to this day. Igor Sikorski->nickname: Mr. Helicopter->similar story...
4
@tiitsaul9036 January 11, 1940 temperature recorded in Siedlce(center of Poland) was recorded as -41 deg C -> this temperature record holds to this day... and now imagine what was the temperature in Finland... who do you think got proper clothes to survive it and knowledge how to deal with extreme cold?!
4
@pauls3204 Irony (from Ancient Greek εἰρωνεία eirōneía 'dissimulation, feigned ignorance'). So you just lost £10 on that bet -> as it is not even an english word -> sounds preaty much identical all over Europe...
4
From what you qre saying you know nothing about culture of Soviet Union, Russia and USA. Kinda sad as you trying to preach here about it... Russians do not go against officials even if they are in gulag, they would try to please government and show to it how loyal they are. And in USA that disfunctional attitude presented in the video would not be posible. People would be united and acting for the change in no time.
4
@mpingo91 That did not changed the Lada that they were producing when the war started was in fact designed by Japanese engineers from Nissan(the engine inside have plenty of original Nissan parts) and the main body of car is French(if i am not mistaken Peugeot). In Soviet times 90% of cars were simply a rip-off of western cars mostly from America, UK and Frence -> its funy when someone is doing a review of a British rip-off and wonders why some of the car features are on the wrong side of the car as that was exact copy of a car from a country where you drive on the left side of the road...🤣
3
@michaeldemaranville7645 Spoken like a true slave...

@мощныйпац "Greece and Rome proved the opposite, showed that democracy is not always good." what you comment showed is that you did not learn anything from history... Rome was a republic and succes of Rome as republic was build also by the knowledge transfered to them from Greece. And what we can see in Russia and in your comment is complete ignorance to the knowledge from Ancient Rome and Greece! The funy part is that the coat of arms of Russia: the double-headed eagle having Byzantine and earlier antecedents. Why Russia is not using headless chicken?!
3
@alexmiller23 Good for you that you did not lie that you are not a bot... first win for you on your road to being a human.
3
I was born in PRL->Polska Republika Ludowa(of people)->i can confirm-> multiple times tanks were send to the streets to silent "The People".
3
@МихаилАлексеев-г2к Considering Russian Empire size and its population it was never great, not to mention "the greatest"... and the fact that it was trying to do more of the same even in the era of WW1 is solid prove of that. Plenty of great empires were standing strong for thousands of years and not by making people sufer for the Tsar than any other country in that time... Roman empire was building roads everywhere and you can actualy find them and see them even today in the same time Russia is the biggest country in the world and first highways were build by Putin and plenty of roads looks like some 4X4 wehicles test field...
3
@madalin4802 " They really don't know what's coming." there was huge jump in number of people searching for "how live in North Korea looks like" in Russian google(yandex) after the sanctions started... so some Russians are clearly aware what is going on .
