  1.  @forgottenmusic1  Putin was not alive in XIX century... And Russian tsar sold Alaska to USA because there were unable to generate any profit from it and at that time Russia was broke because of the Crimean War...

  2. On top of that USSR did not considered itself as legal continuation of Imperial Russia->so they refused to pay Russian debt... Bolsheviks almost ended up USSR history because of that as the whole world refused to do any bussines with them but... Germany saved Kremlin ->Treaty of Rapallo from 1922.
