The map with over 51% of Poland for USSR and less than 49% was signed before the war in Moscow not in Berlin... Foreginers were not able to visit Soviet Union and citizensof Soviet Union were not able to leave it. You were not even able to leave you own town or vilage and visit your family in different city/vilage without permision on paper...

@UshankaShow Because foreigners were aware how the world looks outside... and Soviet propaganda was spreading idiotic lies how bad is the situation all over the world where comunists are not in charge. Soldiers that in 1945 ended in the Germany also were not welcome back->Stalin transported them to China to fight there and did not wanted them back in home where they would be able to say how poor are people in Soviet Union in comparison to the west(including workers).
