@ironwolfF1 nope, the plan was to make nuclear desert out of Poland... official task for Polish army was to attack Denmark, Polish army at that time got huge amount of amphibious vehicles and landing ships to do exactly that. In old times when USSR attacked Poland in 17 sep 1939, over 50000 soviet soldiers deserted and wanted to join Polish army and fight with USSR on our side.... clearly that people were fully aware what kind of "improvements" Bolsheviks and communism can provide to normal people.

Polish soldiers were poor only when our neighbours was trying to rob us out of everything. Ukraine is all about Chernozem, best land to grow food, in old times Prussias biggest income source was from taxes on stuff produced in Poland that was send to West of Europe via sea and Prussia... when Bolsheviks started to do their magic millions of people in that area died from hunger. My own family left home and huge land property there because they were fully aware what kind of life they can have there under bolshevik shoe! Not to mention that soviet soldiers visited that property in 1939 and 1944 and took plenty of souvenirs with them, even stuff that was well hiden was not safe as they were clearly profesional liberators that knowed how to liberate you out of all your valuable possessions.

In USSR you could buy and drink vodka even in your place of work... sick system.

"But no reservists showed up for duty" so all ended up in prizon? heh that story sounds to me very colorized. Because of war in Afghanictan USSR was allready doing badly, they did not wanted to go into Poland so gen. Jaruzelski was asked to do it himself...

kiril marinov Solidarity from that period of time was build from the bottom up, key people for that movement ended locked in different places in 1982 by gen. Jaruzelski. This Solidarity that came later was instaled by gen. Jaruzelski people and whole head of it was selected by gen. Jaruzelski team, including the one with Nobel Prize... not so long ago right hand of Jaruzelski died and papers about some secret documents was revealed. Shipyard were killed because it was competition for German and French shipyards and only because they got people like Tusk, UE got the same objections to shipyards in France and Germany but only the Poland did do anything about it... Tusk is from the same team as the prize wining not so secret now communist informer. There was atempt to get rid of them but that failed and Jan Olszewski government failed. There is good document about it "Nocna zmiana" but you need to know Polish to understand it, all hey people from last 30 years of Polish politic are there including top media "jurnalists" shiting pants that they will be exposed. Official truths sold in media have not much to do with reality. "Children of the workers from the strike are immigrants arround the world" dont wory not all young people abandoned this country. We should do like Czechs did, they kicked out old commie agents, we did not and now we are paying for that...

Heh, idiotic idea. In that time USSR was allready bankrupt and showing white flag to the NATO. Plenty of meetings betwen Regan and Gorbachev. Deals like for example for the soviet rocket engine that is used in USA rockets to this day, you can bet it was part of that "surender" deal... And all that Cold War fear have its origin in USA weponds manufacturers that earned crazy ammount of money during that time. USSR military spending was crazy high if you compare it to country GDP... and they were worced to do that to just only catch up. Even in recent Putin speach about military he is talking that USSR was allways only catching up... Your author books are clearly as reliable source of information as Erich von Däniken publications!

"Germany agreed to allow Poland to occupy the region of Teschen, prompting many Czechoslovakians to rely on this incident to accuse the Polish government of complicity with the Nazi invaders, whereas the Polish government did continue to deny this." so stop inventing and spreading that lies? Poland was not even invited to Munich as your are happy to point in that part about who was part of that threaty(Poland was not there...). Poland contacted Czechoslovakians and informed them that they want that land and Czechoslovakians agreed to remove Czechoslovakian army from that territory. That was not German territory so why we needed German permision to take it? You ofc did not mention about the real facts why Poland was soo mad about this land about all the murdering that was done there 20 years before by Czechs... bayoneting Polish prizoners... That have nothing to do with Germany or Nazi, Poland just used crapy position of Czechoslovakians exactly like Czechoslovakians did when Bolsheviks attacked Poland and Czechoslovakians said that they will not gonna allow any trains with military equipment for Poland to enter Czechoslovakia if Poland do not agree with Czechoslovakians terms... What is there to deny? Only thing that we deny is Putin version of pseudohistory that this was done as Germany ally. Where and when we did sign anything with Germany? Putin forgot to invent that part. Only country that was helping Germany in this was USSR. "The Kama tank school (German: Panzerschule Kama) was a secret training school for tank commanders operated by the German Reichswehr near Kazan, Soviet Union. It operated from 1929 to 1933. The school was established in order to allow the German military to circumvent the military restrictions on tank research spelled out in the Treaty of Versailles. Apart from Kama, for the same reason Germany also operated the Lipetsk fighter-pilot school (1926–33) and a gas warfare facility, Gas-Testgelände Tomka (1928–31)." WW2 started with secret part of Molotov–Ribbentrop Pact and because this documents was found in Germany after Germany lost it is not secret anymore so stop spreading that idiotic theories! The pact was signed in Moscow for a reason and Moscow got half of Europe after the war also because of the same reason. People was starving in USSr and stalin was in that time importing tanks from USA... https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Christie_suspension#/media/File:Bt2.jpg in 1938 USSR got more tanks than all other countries on this planet combained!

Steve Arthur "Really? What countries did the USSR invade, bomb, sanction or otherwise attack again???" They invaded Poland in 1919... So invasion was a first thing to do on the list! The whole plan was to spread communism to every country. That is why "State Emblem of the Soviet Union. Hammer and sickle, globe and the rising sun.", that was the reason to create The Communist International (Comintern), It was in the USSR anthem... https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Molotov_bread_basket

The whole point of smugle is to earn money by damaging other country economy by floating that country with cheap stuff that they want to stop with import laws... if you expect not rough treatment on the border then you should not smugle stuff when you there. Cigaretes in Poland have tax stamp, and it is like 80% of cigaretes price, selling them without it or with foreign tax stamps is against polish law.
