@badlandskid and balance as the magazine is on that side so the barrel is closer to the center of the mass... bayonet mounted from the side also would move center of the mass to this side.

@milybanily "Nop. All; mag, bolt and barrel is in left side...." That is the whole point of puting you barrel in the center of the mass... so it will be shoting at your target, not at the guy that is standing on his left side when your gun is starting to rotate the wepond when you trying to hit the guy...
