Requirement of working model would make it very hard to submit any patent for small company or individual person before some big company would be able to steal it from you as small company or private person would need to order parts for his invention from other companies... and big companies just spaming patents on everything they can. Apple is the best example when they sued Samsung for rounded corners on Samsung devices... and Samsung lost(that is the biggest joke of US law/patent system). Not to mention that most patents now are not for whole device just some smal part, so how would you provide working model for some improvement in for example cannon mechanism?

  3. I would also love to see the faces of patent office employes when someone would try to patent some thermonuclear weapond and would come to the patent office with working model for testing... sir just wait here for a second we gonna test it in the basement. :D
