  1. In 1984 Communist security agency ended priest Jerzy Popiełuszko and in 1989 his close friend pirest Stanisław Suchowolec... So yes officialy it was for the army but most likely in reality it was for people that firing in civilian cloths to some civilians that wanted Poland to be free and free of communist scums.
