" I'm rather glad" just like Germans in 1939, 1940, 1941 but not so much in 1944 or 1945. :P If someone gonna point the gun at you and pull the trigger you will not gonna have time to come back here and inform anyone that you changed you opinion. Media gonna present it with proper narration and maybe even use it to take out guns from people that are allowed to have them now. Someone else making decisions, you paying the consequence they have armed guards with them all the time you can hope that Police gonna catch the guy after because there is little chance they will be there when someone will be trying to kill you.

Here on this planet people like to genocide other people not because the "desire to genocide" but because they want to stay in power and killing milions for no good reason giving other people good reason to not to go against government in hope that they will not gonna end up in concentration camp. There was concentration camps even in USA, for short period of time Japanese people was in it and for some strange reason 10% of them didnt survived that not so long mandatory "vacations"...
