@@Besthinktwice It's not about resources. Norway isn't in the EU because we've already spent more then 500 years in a union and are fed up with not having sovereignty. We don't really mind cooperating with other nations and even for the most part aligning with their laws, but the top down approach of a federal government that the EU is aiming for just doesn't work for us. Only a confederal approach would with the power going from the bottom up.

@Interitus1 It is definitely not "needlessly" complicated. Indeed that kind of differentiation of relationships is what we should have more of, not less. Different countries have different *needs*.
