@SofaKingShit De facto US colony? I haven't found anything recent. But in 2005 about 33% of the bonds of our sovereign wealth fund was to the us, while 44% where to the EU. While on the stock side of the equation (a lot less money then bonds at the time) where 34% in US companies and 25% in EU companies. And that's simply because those two makes up a huge portion of the worlds economy, and unlike China isn't hostile, and unlike some other nations they're not unstable... We're no colony of any nation, whatever you may think and have opposed both the EU, US and Russia on a number of occasions. Seeking out compromises and cooperation does not make a nation a "colony".
