  1. Regarding gun controll. The reason it's usually the liberitarian left that advocates for it is that the libertarian left thinks that my freedom ends where yours begin, however unlike the libertarian right the libertarian left feels that if left unchecked there's certain things that will give some power over others, and these things should be kept in check in order to increase the de facto freedom of everyone. That includes capital, but also weapons. So, yes. Supporting gun controll is a authoritarian issue, but the intention of the controll is to ensure that they're not used to restrict or harm others. But yeah, you'll find people advocating both for and against gun controll in all sort of places across the political spectrum. So honestly it's kind of a different axis from those two altogether.
