  1. +Liam Nissan I'm fairly sure that Tesla is bringing in more money to the US then what's being paid in subsidies there... Why? Because the US is only a tiny part of the Tesla market... Norway and China are both countries where Tesla is currently hugely in demand, in both of those countries demand is by far outstripping supplies. Used Teslas are sold for several times the price of a new one here in Norway. And Tesla and other electric cars sold from the US has actually created a inbalance in trade between the US and Norway in favour of the US... We're bleeding money into the US economy because of the US electric car production... Of course sooner or later we'll have replaced all of our cars with electric ones and banned gasolin cars and by then the subsidies won't be needed anymore. But till then, trust me, the US is earning way more on Tesla and other electric companies then the US is loosing on them...
