10:51 That one is interesting. We have the words "ætt" in Norwegian, and a similar word in Icelandic meaning relative. And we also have "adel" in Norwegian meaning noble. Before today I never really connected the two. I think the connection is "belonging to me" or "mine" for "ætt"? I don't know... "Ætting" is Icelandic for kindship I believe? So "relative" essentially.

8:54 In the Norwegian language and alphabet "Å" is a separate letter and not a variation of "A". And it's also the last letter in our alphabet. It's also a place name. End of video: Slightly surprised that "Hell" in Norway (there's slso a place in the US with the same name, probably for the same reason). In Norwegian that means "luck", in English it's sounds a little warmer...

Personally I prefer to just use my Norwegian keyboard and then switch to the Icelandic one and back as needed. Norwegian got Æ, Ø and Å, and Icelandic got Æ, Ö, Ð and Þ.
