  1. 6:27 "Gnostic" is a term used for several different religions. What generally the reason they're compared is that they're all based on a single nature of God. Never heard of one believing that Satan and God is the same entity. I've heard of some that thinks that the physical world is evil and only the physical one is real and pure or something along those lines. It's kind of hard to get all the details since they're generally considered heretics and their beliefs attempted eradicated...

  2. 8:52 That analysis doesn't explain the incredible positivity of many shamanistic religions with just that kind of nature spirits. It's not about fear at all, but seeking allies and cooperation through mutual respect with the world around us... They're not antagonistic entities.
