And this is why I prefer proportional electoral systems with parliamentarism. By dividing peoples opinions into more nuances with more parties you end up with more factions that you might not fully agree with but you can understand aspects of their view and be willing to see things at least partially from their point of view. It makes the political debates more nuanced. You still have biases. But it's less clear cut.
