  1. +Huy Ly Pretty much non of those dollars are used on anything as they're kept in reserves. The parliament has a rule of thumb to never use more then 4% of the oil funds (or less then the combination of the profit from the fund and the amount invested into it each year anyway from oil revenues, so the fund is pretty much always growing, the main reason it is this big now) The majority of the budget of Norway is paid for exclusivly with taxation.

  2. 4:35 A self governing part of the Danish *Kingdom*, not of *Denmark*. The difference is essentially the same as saying that Scotland is a self governing part of the UK and not England. Legally the difference isn't that big. But the Faero Islands where never a part of the unification of Denmark or of Danish culture, being a separate ethnic group with closer ties to Norway and Iceland then to Denmark. So in terms of identity it matters a lot. Just a Scot wouldn't like anyone claiming that they're living in England a Faeroese wouldn't like you claiming that they're living in Denmark...

  3. Nice video, but this doesn't really solve any of the issues... Ultimately nuclear power is still a nonrenewable power source with waste products that's harmfull and at least some safety issues. Not that said safety issues are as frequent as in other power sources, but when they occure they tend to be more serious... It's not without reason that we've banned commercial power plants in my country. We do have a scientific one running in my country however to study how to make them safer.
