  1. 7:26 That's where I disagree with you. The more people are involved in electing someone and the more people are ruled over by them the less democratic it is, because it dilutes the influence of the individuals and the influences of the various different experiences involved. As a result a organization like the EU should never have the power to do one sided decisions like that. Any power they have should always be given by the member states and it should be possible for them to opt out as well. I suggest making contributions a separate treaty with a percentage of the GDP of a country being required, with the EU having the right to set membership in the treaty as a requirement for various EU benefits (but not voting rights). If more funding is required just make new treaties.
