@nadwanrosetta2942 Technically it's the middle class and the companies that's funding everything here. Yes the rich pay more income tax and therefore pay more overall they're still outnumbered so much by the middle class that they're never going to make up the bulk of the income. Nordic countries have a strong middle class unlike the US where there's mostly a upper and lower class with just a small middle class remaining.

@j.t.7697 The thing is that once you include all the costs that are covered by the sate here in Europe into the expenses you take from a wage in the US we actually end up cheaper. Especially if you consider that even with a insurance Americans often have to pay enough money for treatment that they end up paying with credit (and therefore paying intrests on that credit made to cover hospital care)

@cannedbeans9524 Sometimes? It clearly isn't. There's a lot of things that's great about the US. But it quite clearly is also poorly governed and structured. American companies are doing decently despite how dysfunctional their goverment is, not because of said goverment like in the rest of the world. That gives the rest of the world a competitive edge against Americans that Americans have to make up for in other ways something they're just about able to do.

@ButterGamesRoblox The Nordic countries, the Netherlands, Australia, New Zeeland and Canada usually compete on being best, with different tables having different results depending on what metrics are weighted the most.
