+pmcdirewolf Consider making the hiring of memers a non-political process and rather judge them for their actions *afterwards*. That's how we do it in my own country. Some members of our supreme court and some regular people elected by the parliament (the later have a majority) together judge in our impeachment process where members of all three branches of goverment can be convicted if they don't perform their duties correctly. We also have a system of proportional representation with lots of small political parties, something that helps reduce political tension as no single party is strong enough alone to get anything done and they need other parties to do so regardless of what side of the fence they are on.

+Metadragon A congress that represents about 40% of the US population? (The remaining part of the population either votes for another political party that's smaller then the two biggest ones, or feel forced to vote for one of those two as voting for their own party leads to a even worse party then the one they dissagree with on their own side of the political spectrum to come into power, or they don't vote at all for a number of reasons, up to and including that their vote genuinly is irrelevant due to the way the US electoral system is built up... The congress is no better then the supreme court in this case...

+Nathan Bruce Having the justice system interprent laws makes it too easy to just keep them unchanged with modified interpretations instead of modified laws and also mixes up the roles of who actually decides them. Better to simply change the laws as needed themselves I feel, the constitution itself included. The US one for one is starting to get a bit outdated to be quite frank even if it was revolutionary at the time it was written.

THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR BRINGING UP THIS TOPIC! This is what I've been trying to get to in the comment field of every single one of the previous videos so far. ;-) The US election system require a major reform if the people of the US is to have any say in how the country is run.
