  1. 8:57 Not quite how it works. The space inside that field isn't moving at all, what it is doing is contracting and expanding. You simply expand the space behind you while you contract the space in front of you. Neither you nor the space in question are actually moving faster then the speed of light. You simply reduce the amount of space that the light (and you) have to travel through at or below the speed of light to reach a certain point in space. A black hole or any other thing with mass already is contracting space around it. So who knows...
