I don't know, it seems like NATO countries are reluctant to accept Russians these days. Even people with dual citizenship might be treated poorly. Apparently Norwegian citizens that also has a Russian one can be arrested if they're flying drones for instance. Access into western countries for Russians is heavily restricted etc. I wish I could say that he'd be welcome here in Norway, and many individuals would indeed welcome him. But the government would probably look at him with distrust and worry about espionage etc...

@chokac1 Not just military bases, there's a total ban on drone flying for Russians, *everywhere*. Yes, the reason why that law was implementated was several Russians flying drones around Norwegian military bases. The Russian Orthodox church also seems to generally be located in locations with a better view of Norwegian military activity them what seems reasonable. And just in general there's a lot of things that our authorities feel is suspicious about the activities of some Russian citizens. However, that particular law applies to all Russians, and that's what I consider unethical.

@condorX2 I haven't read your whole wall of text, but even in the parts I've read there's plenty of inaccuracies and half truths/half lies from the Russian propaganda machine.

@chokac1 While drones flying over military bases was the reason that law was implementated it still applies universally in Norway. And it would have been much better to implement a universal law about flying drones in military areas instead of singling out Russians... Edit: Never mind, apparently I've already replied to you earlier...
