  1. +City Beutiful Trust me, Norway is not going to settle on letting another country host all the winter olympics. While it's true that the current cabinet decided not to back an olympic game I'm fairly sure that one of the next couple of cabinets will. Most of our cabinets since the war have been run by the labour party, a trend I doubt will change anytime soon. They are less reluctant to spend money then the conservatives.

  2. The country might not need an advantage when it comes to winter sports... But it's a matter of pride. Leaving all future olympic games to other nations after having a tradition of rotating that role? No, there's too much feelings and national pride involved there... Now, having thinner roads on the other hand or a number of other suggestions you have had? We'll be all for those. ^^
