9:55 Actually depending on what definitions for what is or isn't Europe you use there's actually parts of Armenia that's within Europe. The line you're using is just one of several definitions of that border, and there's yet to be a consensus on that particular border between Europe and Asia. Just look up the Wikipedia article about the boundaries between the continents of the Earth. It lists several of those definitions. Some are starting to lose traction. But there's still several that's being used around the world.

@nikolabolesnik First of all, the US would have bought those new weapons anyway, this way the old weapons goes to Ukraine first. Secondly, while the US is spending crazy amounts of money on their military industrial complex the reality is that they've created a ton of jobs held by voters, and furthermore that those jobs not only produce weapons for the US paid for by the US but actually involves a lot of exports to other countries, bringing money back into the US economy. So far the US has been the winter of the international arms trade due to Russia losing market share due to being seen as unreliable. There are questions about US reliability in the case of Trump winning, but those concerns haven't manifested in any major shift away from US arms manufacturing world wide yet. Although it has lead to greater investment in the development of potensial non-US weapon systems in the future that will compete with the US arms industry. And Trump might be harming US long term weapon market shares in return for short term gains.

8:48 The problem isn't the distribution of seats between states but the way the representatives in those states are chosen. A switch to a proportional system would over time fix a lot of the issues currently found in the US Congress... It would lead to more plausible combinations of parties to get a majority and would punish any politicians hoping that not working with anyone and then perhaps get control next election, as one party getting full control becomes impossible.
