  1. He keeps making mistakes... But honestly it's not him that you guys are voting for. And the heavy focus on people rather than parties is my main objection with the MMP system in Germany (nothing near as bad as in first past the post systems though). If your parliament has any sense they'll pick another leader then him for the chancellorship. Even if it's someone else from the same party.
