@CommentLikeDescribe Yep, the Dutch are probably the only non-native English speakers that's better then us Scandinavians in English. But yeah, living in Norway English comes natural, and I sometimes think something in English and can't remember the Norwegian word, despite English not being native to me...

@Entropy512 Really? Interesting. Most Icelandic settlers ended up in Canada near the US border, while Norwegians ended up south of the border, north of the Germans.

I don't expect batteries to do the job in long haul or medium haul. But short haul in areas like Norway, Canada and Alaska it could actually make a lot of sense. Batteries are improving rapidly, and i think that they can be used as essentially flying taxies between small rural airports that's short distances away from each other soon. The same airplane can increase its range just by replacing a battery with another one with the same weight but more range every few years, increasing the usefulness.

3:46 Yeah, he's not a expert in AI, at least not one aware of all the developments out there and how they're being developed. It sounds like he's just using already existing code in new ways and training it etc. Or he might even write new code, but based on existing research. He knows quite a bit, but AI research has gone a lot further then just making predictions based on memory, it can genuinely innovate. And I can tell that he's not working on bleeding edge AI technology. On trying out new ideas in how to design a artificial intelligence, how to come up with new algorithms for neurons in a neural network etc. He's not far off, but he's underestimating AIs. He's not necessarily wrong about its use in the short term. But he definitely is long term. Also, ChatGPT isn't really the most advanced AI out there.

This will definitely be interesting to follow in the future. :-)

@ellenorbjornsdottir1166 It's not really needed here, unless you want a job that's facing customers. As Norwegians expect Norwegian companies to offer services in Norwegian or at least a Scandinavian language.
