  1. +theflanman86 Do you want to know why Tesla isn't make a profit? It's not due to not making a huge profit on every car they sell. No, it's due to investing the vast majority of the money they earn and more on top back into the company to improve their production and improve their products. Sure, subsidies are nice, but Tesla quite frankly don't need them to make sells these days and probably will still make a profit once they're gone. Also, quite frankly, what the US does or does not subsidie is kind of beside the point as most Teslas are not sold in the US but elsewhere. Tesla and other electric cars are pretty much the single reason why Norway has a trade deficite vs the US right now as we're buying a ton of them, way more then you're using in subsidies yourself. Heck, it's even more then the money you're using on buying crude oil from us... And that is in a country where oil makes up roughly half the economy and that's making a huge profit. So yeah, next time you want to talk shit about Tesla consider the huge amounts of money they bring into the US economy from other countries like mine instead of complaining about the pathetic subsidies that you guys are paying yourself. It's pocket change compared to what you earn on those cars and well worth the investment in return for market share in the economies that genuinly care about the enviroment.

  2. Charging really isn't a problem... If it was everyone wouldn't be buying them here in Norway... And E-fuels made by using the CO2 in the air uses a heck of a lot of energy to make it... Electric cars are a heck of a lot more viable. But sure, some e-fuel cars and some hydrogen cars thrown into the mix might help alleviate the one real problem with electric cars, a shortage of the resources to make them, and especially their batteries...
