  1. 1:48 No, it wouldn't happen in any country. While there's definitely room for improvement in the behavior of men in my country towards women this kind of situation just won't occure, and the police would have been called long before it reached that point. 1:54 That situation however probably would happen here... :-/ 7:09 Unfortunately all small nations deal with that kind of things... Here in Norway we're free to protest so we usually protest against injustices happening in other countries, something not really related to this or against our own goverment. But occasionally there's protests based on influences from the EU or USA on Norway. Things like protests against US military bases on Norwegian soil or various EU legislations being forced upon us like privatization of our railways or postal services for example... (We're not a EU member and can't vote on these matters, and while technically our deals with the EU gives our government the right to veto EU laws and not implement them they in reality basically never do so, only leaving the areas specifically excepted from EU law not being implemented here) Being a small country means that you're always forced to deal with other countries influencing your own politics. Our government generally isn't afraid of opposing Russia thankfully being in NATO. Although it generally also tries to be respectful towards Russia and take Russian interests into consideration (one of the reasons why nukes are banned on our soil and why we till recently had no foreign military bases on our soil at all, the one we got now is highly controversial). Instead It's usually the EU and US that's influencing our politics, although Russia does too on occasion. Things like spreading false news, especially near an election for instance... Dealing with this kind of behavior from major powers is really frustrating... That said, on the whole we have way more agency to not follow the will of the US or the EU in their sphere of influence then we would have had if we where in Russias. The US and EU are relatively benevolent "masters" in that regard... 15:42 I'm sorry that you have to feel that way. Generally my country behaves well. But occasionally I feel a bit like you do (although probably at a much smaller scale) because of things like how we treat refugees for instance... It disgust me that our immigration system is that inhumane. And it's not a good feeling to feel ashamed of your country like that. And you don't deserve that. You've actually taken a stand and should be proud. I know that I'm proud of you.
