+ @logicalphallusy2364 And linux was cloning UNIX back in the day. What's your point? Heck, even Windows was originally a clone of another OS although I don't remember what OS that was...

+ @HungryGuyStories Basically yeah. BSD is popular for software that has to be secure like routers (it is arguably more secure then Linux is) and it also has a lisence that's more palatable to companies out there. React OS is written entierly from scratch. Basically it's based on reverse engineering. You first get someone to analyze the original Microsoft implementation and write down a specification of what each of those programs actually do. Then you get someone else who have never seen any Microsoft code to reimplement the same specifications, and hopefully it's compatible enough that you can run windows applications on it despite both the source code and binary being different. The React OS code needs to work both in React OS and in Windows proper and do the same job. While the code is copyrightable the specifications shouldn't be.

Could be the other way around though...

+ @logicalphallusy2364 Linux not being a clone is debatable...

+ @BFBeast666 I believe it's x86 only (there's other alternative OSes that can be run on a Pi though if you don't want to run Linux, Windows or BSD)

+Free Saxon Try using Opera (or that new thing they've made) on your phone. They compress data before sending it to your browser in one of their modes, saves you a lot of bandwidth.

+ @1st_ProCactus He's referring to his broadband or cable or whatever he is using. Basically the line going from his provider to his house is down. Instead he is using data from his phone connected to a base station some distance away, since it's a different deal he pays more for that data and there's a limitation to how much data he can use. Hence why I'm suggesting using Opera. While for a land line I'd suggest firefox then it's probably his hardware that's the main bottleneck.
