In Norway its normal to eat bread for breakfast, then again at lunch (cold lunch), then as a side for dinner (only hot meal of the day), then bread again for the evening meal... Somehow the Germans have managed to beat us in the amount of bread in. weight they eat (in part because theirs are heavier to start with). They eat 56 kg a year pr capita, we're at just 41 kg...
