1:36 Doesn't look like a storm, just snow, no? 5:10 His issue isn't the model but his tires. Here in Norway we have at least two sets of tires, often three. Summer, winter and studded. This condition would be a winter tire condition, softer rubber, and deep groves designed for grip in the snow, perhaps even suction cups too.

@juhokaartoaho Heavy snow isn't really that bad if you have deep enough groves and a electric bike. The front wheel can function like a rudder, and with the electric engine helping out if the groves are deep enough it's able to dig your way through the snow. You're pretty exhausted and wet when you get there, but it works.

@idkusername2795 Tires you really should have... I don't believe there's laws requiring them on bikes in my country. But they are for cars and motorcycles etc...

@GavinHewitt I think most people people have them in my country in winter. Unlike with cars and motorcycles they're not mandated by law here, but I'd say a majority of people own them and switch just like with winter tires. And it's not necessarily studded tires either. For cars you'll find people in certain regions having three sets of tires, summer, winter and studded. Studded for ice, winter for snow, and summer for rain and regular roads. Winter tires tend to have far softer rubber and totally different patterns of the groves. I think most people only have two sets of bike wheels though...
