@truckertorpedo Honestly we should make a deal with the EU about banning non nordic drivers licenses, at least in winter if they're not accompanied by a winter/nordic drivers license on top, and to ban companies doing union busting from our roads (doesn't have to be a nordic union or Nordic wages, but having a union reduces the risk of dangerous crap like sending drivers off on 18 hour shifts or we without proper chains etc...) Just make it a requirement for driving once you enter Norway, Sweden, Finland or Iceland. As that's all places where Europeans have to get through either by boat, a single bridge over from Denmark, a external EU/EEA border with Russia or by plane it should be easy enough to enforce unlike other countries with longer land borders. In summer they should be allowed to drive freely though.

9:01 With all that traffic I doubt that it's night. My guess, 4 pm - 6 pm in the fall/winter. Remember that we're far enough north for it to get dark early... Heck,some places doesn't see light at noon in winter.

@roevhaal578 Regarding the road quality, it depends on where you are. There's a lot of focus on safety. But the country is big, and there's a hierarchy of responsibility for road maintenance. Main roads are funded nationally and are usually excellent. But there's definitely low priority roads in certain regions that's underfunded. Nothing dangerous. Safety features often has priority over potholes, and speed limits are low enough that low quality roads aren't dangerous to people (just cars). But yeah, we have the safest roads in the world, and a big part of that is the drivers (despite what these dashcams might make you think). Our main issue is actually foreign drivers.
