  1. +Geekanoids Technically PLS is a form of IPS. There's no single IPS tech with that name, instead it's a term used for a series of different panel types that's very similar and that includes Samsungs PLS tech but that Samsung as the only company isn't marketing as IPS.

  4. Technically PLS is IPS. It's just not the best implementation of IPS.

  5. ***** They're both IPS yes. There's several different implimentations of IPS with nuance differences. Samsungs PLS just isn't the best one out there on average (some of their other monitor techs are great though, among the best there is out there) And honestly most people probably won't notice any difference between PLS or any of the other IPS types.
