7:43 You have 16 political parties for about 17 million people, Norway has 10 political parties for a bit over 5 million people... I think that we got you beat when it comes to people pr million people of population... Your parliament has 150 seats, ours have 169 seats. 8:08 For 150 of the 169 seats we have in Norway we also have no threshold for entering. And the smallest political party in our parliament had just 4 908 votes, making them the third biggest party in their constituency. 4 908 voters out of 3 003 290 total voters in the election. I believe that's about 0,16% of our voters voting for that party in total and they still got a seat, as it's a whole lot less voters then the 0,67% required in Dutch elections. However in Norway there's also 19 seats that do have a voter threshold of 4%. Meaning that while we don't stop smaller parties from getting representation there's a lot of potential extra power available if you can clear that threshold, meaning that smaller parties have a incentive to merge or at least not split up, while larger parties don't have much holding them back from splitting up. It leada to a lot of medium sized parties
