+wabachi Well, to be fair the 14 nm and 16 nm of Samsung/Globalfoundery and TSMC is kind of floating. Basically there's no set definition of the two so the difference isn't really that great. As for the rumors that I've heard so far is something like a Nano sold at a 390 price point as a 480X. shrugs

wabachi Actually, we've known that they won't go with HBM2 for a couple of months at least. The VR performance was kind of a surprice while the performance in other situations where closer to what was expected although they're still a bit in the high end. The price is lower then expected. The new features also came as a surprice. As for Polaris, well we don't know exactly But we know for sure that it'll be weaker then the Fury X and probably the Fury and Nano too. We're relativly sure that one of the Polaris chips will replace the 380X but where exactly that chip lands in terms of performance and price is unknown.

wabachi Various rumor sites as well as more respectable tech sites. http://wccftech.com/ got crap community with a ton of trolling and often have a bit too little scepticism towards their sources. But they do tend to get hold of news earlier then most others as well as a ton of noise that's just not correct... So yeah, they got a ton of stuff as well as several other sites...

wabachi Fair enough. Thing is you get a decent idea of what's comming if you keep a tab of the rumors. But you should always take them with a grain of salt or possibly a whole handful of salt. I've already told you what we knew about Pascal. And we got a good idea about where Polaris will land too although it's of course not 100% sure knowlege yet.

wabachi I'm guessing he's referring to me... And that he's not exactly agreeing with my assessments...

wabachi http://videocardz.com/60253/amd-radeon-r9-480-3dmark11-benchmarks I think you might find this interesting. We don't know exactly what those equal to as far as chips are concerned nor what they'll equal to in game performance, but it's interesting results never the less.

Luiz Fernando Cavalcanti dos Santos You're welcome. =) Do take that article with a pinch of salt though. We don't know for sure that it's genuine, nor do we know if any of the final products will actually match those numbers as the clock speed and core count can both change a bit from what was shown there. Drivers can change. And we don't know the prices. Nor do we know that this will actually be reflected in games. Still, fingers crossed. The top card seems to have a score of 13 141 compared to the 390X with a score of 12 948 in the same test and the Fury (non-x) with 14 601. If the article is correct about that card being the R9 480X...
