@midnitekingdrama2558 The Philippines has the advantage of a sea between it and China. It'll be hard for them to invade if you have a major sea power backing you, be that a American or European one... They'll have their hands full with Taiwan... No, the biggest concern is likely disrupted trade and hybrid warfare, not a land war on the Philippines, unless China manages to trigger a proxy civil war of some kind...

@darren5971 The Philippines didn't fight in Vietnam. But the US has many ethnic groups. So of course some faught there. Likewise there's multiple ethnic groups present in other nations involved in the war.
