Hum, I have mixed feelings about this. On the whole I'm leaning towards it being a good thing if people are pushed towards using trains instead, especially for the environment. And Germany has a good railway network. But that said some air travel is good for a nation.

@stefanfritzsche The network is good. As for the trains running on the network, their, and your definition of late isn't even in the ballpark of what the rest of the world consider late for a train. In the rest of the world people have to deal with trains being late with hours or *days*, and you guys complain if it's 10 minutes "late". Anyone complaining about the German rail network is simply spoiled. And are comparing them with perfection from countries like Switzerland. And that's simply not possible in such a large network.
