  1. 3:34 You're missing the point when you think that this is about fear. It's about nuclear simply not being the solution and being part of the non-renewable problem. While yes, a modern nuclear power plant with all of the regulations that modern governments have for them is actually safe it requires so much money etc to make it profitable that you need guaranteed purchases to make it make sense. And while yes, keeping current nuclear plants running actually through the lifetime of the plant ends up being less polluting then even some renewable sources once you factor in the pollution needed to build new ones and keep them running (fuel etc) as well as to get rid of the waste you end up with a pretty bad result. Especially if you factor in that they make it less profitable to run renewable alternatives that we know are the future (due to the guaranteed purchases), and therefore they hold us back... In terms of radiation there's actually more radiation from a coal power plant... 8:40 You guys forgot about the British one. Thankfully that one didn't lead ro deaths either. But honestly that was mostly by chance. 12:52 Like I said, if you know the truth it's not the deaths from nuclear that you worry about, but the deaths from fossil fuels continuing to exist due to nuclear power making renewable less viable. And it's not like extraction and refinement isn't polluting and dangerous too...
