  1. There's room for some improvement in the educational value of this video. The entertainment value isn't too shabby thought. Nordic food mostly involves raw materials being dried, smoked, salted, fermented (or even rotten), canned etc. Basically the key word is food preservation. Making use of all the resources, because people who didn't generally starved to death till relatively recently. Of course things like potatoes and international trade has changed things and now luxuries like kebab, pizza and hot dogs are super popular. And people generally speaking don't die of starvation anymore.
