@shdmd2118 hat's not the problem... Helping Ukraine is actually a cheap option for the US, they're getting a lot of effect for their money. And part from that while NATO is a defensive military alliance it's also providing economic benefits, especially when dealing with economic warfare. The US can definitely cut costs, but I'd suggest focusing on things that costs a lot but provides little beyond voter support for the money... Also, what the US needs is electoral reform. A proportional electoral system and parliamentarianism instead of a presidential system etc.
