I'm kind of shocked at the comment section here. The point here is that you shouldn't need someone to leave their job because of the cost of day care and/or kindergarten. Just think about it. If you have 10 women with kids it makes way more sense for 9 of them to work a proper job and earn money and the last one to actually work taking care of the other 9 peoples kids. But if you want something like that to work you kind of need the government to step in. Especially when you have a system like the US one where workers quite frankly are not paid enough. US income after inflation basically hasn't changed for ages with most of the wealth increase going to just a few individuals who are the ones that usually actually benefit financially from the work these women are doing. Still, we need them to work to make society as a whole running and working efficiently.
