@blue runner If you want to go by living standards then all the countries beating the US also have universal health care of some kind or other.

@blue runner That depends on the nation in question. Some nations like the UK deliberately choose to use longer queues for non-urgent healthcare in order to save money, other countries have shorter queues then the US by far but that increase costs as a result. That applies to both public and private based health care systems.
