@trollingpcgames True, it would take time. But if you do build it up and do so at least in part through investments abroad you actually earn money on the money you have there. And it becomes another "natural resource" so to speak. Norway is earning more on interests then from the oil we sell. Or at least we where before the war in Ukraine. Our oil revenues have gone up since, so I don't know what the latest numbers are. That said, Norway was saving up money before we had any oil. bd it's not like the US doesn't have natural advantages too that can help produce such a fund. The main issue in the US is inefficient spending I believe...

 @trollingpcgames No, it's not impossible. It is difficult however. And it would take a far longer time to achieve.
