Cars over that price are still recieving a lower tax then a ICE car as only the part of their price that exceed that sum is taxed while the part of the price that's below that sum is still exempted the sales tax. So if you have a car costing say 48 000 $ you'll have zero sales tax on the first 47 000 $ then 25% tax on the remaining 1 000 $ for a sales tax of 250 $.
