  1. It's not just flooding that will destroy infrastructure in Russia. Remember, that the foundation of many buildings is permafrost. If that melts and refreeze then that warps the ground, and if it melts and stay melted then it becomes soft and unable to support the weight it could take before.

  2.  LineOfCars  To some melting, sure. But this is on a completely other league then in the past. Also, another thing worth noting is that diseases that has been frozen in the ground before may show up again...
