In this game I suggest placing your cam feed in the lower right corner and not the upper right one as that blocks the text with all the information...

+TheDemocrab If I understand this correctly then Tau is a measure of opacity, not of the light actually hitting the surface, even if light hitting the surface is used to measure it. So basically Tau doesn't change when it's night. The Tau can be low or high during the night, a low Tau would allow most of the star light and moon light to reach the surface, a high Tau would much light reach the surface at all. You could be on a rogue planet in the middle of a dust cloud in the middle of inter galactic space with no star for billions of light years and you could still have a tau of close to 0 in the middle of the darkness or a very high one right next to a gigantic star or next to a pulsar or some such... Essentially when thinking of Tau think of the delta, that is the difference between the light outside the atmosphere and at the surface. Not the amount of light reaching the atmostphere as a absolute number. Two planets could have the same exact amount of light hitting the surface but have widely different Tau due to the difference in light hitting the atmosphere of the planet and being filtered out on the way down to the surface. Or have the same amount of light outside the atmosphere and widely different Tau and light amounts at the surface.

I'll probably wait till another patch or two has arrived.

As a example of how it was not prerendered by only scripted, have a look at this comparison between the youtube version and the twitch/live version: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=70ArQOg9pzc

Hum, regarding SC running out of money... They're still raking in quite a lot of money even in low periods, and with 3.0 they're likely to get a massive boost in income. So I really doubt that they'll run out of money anytime soon...

Any news on these things?

May I suggest that you build a universal storage between the two domes?

4:14 Well, they got sand storms, so why not lightnings caused by those?

Hum, 1st of April... Bad timing... People might not believe the warnings from the goverment thinking it's a April the first joke or some such...

Hum... Why not make two engines inside eachother? First use some hydrogen to cool the main engine and pump fuel to the main engine, then push it through the inside of the combustion chamber using oxygen to cool it while it goes further down and closer to the vacuum of space and do a second engine there inside the flames of the first engine. Your fuel wouldn't be wasted going elsewhere but is instead used to push the rocket forwards with a second burn. And who knows, perhaps you can even work out a way to get more efficiency by burning up more of the fuel using a two staged burn like that if you can cool down the exhausts from the first burn enough to let it combine with the output of the second burn in such a way that perhaps you could have some kind of third burn? I'm just speculating here and I'm certainly not a rocket scientists or even really a proper space nerd. But in my mind this kind of makes sense even if the real world might not particularly agree with me.

Well, not strictly speaking a "planet" pr say...

Why not set your software to cross-reference multiple systems? Like Glonass, Galileo and GPS with differentiation +++
