  11. The problem with the BBC is that they are now run by accountants who only understand numbers which in the case of TV means viewer numbers. They believe that they need to be "on trend" and we know what that means these days.

When you think about the people who own and run the commercial channels and the sort of things you can pretty much guess what they get up to by reputation that never gets exposed due to who they are, maybe the BBC are not that bad after all? Remember also that any time you buy anything that has been advertised on TV you are paying these people money. Ah, you say, I only ever watch You-Tube, mmm, who profits from that!
