  1.  @sammavitae114  The French value food and eating like we used to in the UK, sadly we are going the way of America. People are paying £3 - £5 for a coffee that they could make at home for 50p. Fast food delivery has taken off ridiculously.

  2. I was in a similar situation to you, getting fatter and less fit, largely due to laziness I have to admit. David ue to an odd health issue I got checked for blood sugar and was found to be type 2 diabetic. I then decided to get a bit more exercise and go back to a sensible (old fashioned) diet. Lost around 40 lbs in no time and am now much better for it. The foods I eat are much nicer tasting too.

  4. They seem to be inherently greedy and their food is tasteless. I wonder if the greed comes from them being largely descended from economic migrants?
