  2. Have I died suddenly, no. Would I really care, to be quite honest, no as I will shortly have outlived my father and all my many uncles. Let's have a revolution just like they did in Russia, but wait, that went wrong pretty quickly.

  3.  @Raglan_  More minority parties simply means the main parties don't have to work so hard to win the magic 33% of the vote to get into power. About the only solution I can see is for some decent ordinary folk to break into the mainstream parties, be they left or right, and work from within.
