@michaelpcoffee There is a difference between prosperity and the likes of Sunak and his mates. There seems to be something wrong with the world if someone can pay £200K for a short joyride, and don't tell me about the trickle down effect because it is too slow. The proper trickle down effect is what happened due to the Coronation of our King. Thousands of ordinary people getting paid to work and for various goods and services and (nearly) every one of them paying taxes. Do you believe the likes of Musk and Gates are prosperous?

@idlehands1864 I agree in a way, particularly in the case of war graves, but somehow the Titanic (and the sites of any big disaster for that matter) seems a bit different. It might be that the loss of life on the Titanic was largely the result of greed if you look into the incident in depth.

@technoir2584 Space exploration (manned) is largely an ego trip for the nations involved. It is all about being the first etc.

@DuelistWave You are quite right in saying that not every rich person is evil, but it all depends how they became rich. How do you place Gates or Musk or the bosses of some of the more dubious companies?
